Interviewing a Real Estate Agent
In determining which real estate agent to select for marketing their home, the following questions are helpful for sellers:
· What are your qualifications?
· What is the length of time you have been in real estate? · Do you sell real estate full-time? · Can you estimate the length of time your listings are on the market? · What is your list to sales price ratio? · May I have a copy of your marketing plan? · Are you knowledgeable of the corporate buyout clause? · What do you know about our area? · Have you sold homes in this area? · How does your office compare to the top 3 in the area? · What is the fee of your professional service? · What is the standard length of time for listings? · What suggestions do you have to improve our home’s marketability? · What is your Open House policy? Advertising? · Within what price range should we place our home? · Do you have any references?
